Did you know that there are things that you can do today to improve your health? Here are some of the best health improvement tips that I found on my iPhone:
• Relax. Stress causes free radical damage in your body, which will result in wrinkles and disease in the long run. One of the best things that you can do is kick back from time to time so that your body stays in balance.
• Protect your mouth. Many people struggle with the symptoms of gum disease without even realizing it, so try eating 2 ounces of yogurt for a source of good bacteria to protect your gums from disease.
• Use interval training. If you want to lose weight and improve your cardiovascular fitness, increasing your endurance through short bursts of cardio intervals will make a dramatic difference.
• Shrug your shoulders. Shrugging your shoulders while holding weights will strengthen your trapezius muscles, which can reduce long-term back pain by almost 80%.
• Eat dairy products. Even if you are cutting back on calories, calcium is highly important because it will protect the health of your bones. Integrating low fat cheese, skim milk, and orange juice fortified with calcium will help to protect your body from calcium loss.
